Denmark
Denmark. We visited Copenhagen and I felt a sense of place I’m unable to explain except to say that L + A felt it in Norway. The light, especially, but also the layout of the parks and gardens, the friendly constraint of the people, the flat landscape, and the food all reminded me of my favorite things about “home.” The architecture, design, sculpture, bikes was so beautiful and felt meaningful. We barely scratched the surface and I can’t wait to get back there.
