Denmark
Denmark. We visited Copenhagen and I felt a sense of place I’m unable to explain except to say that L + A felt it too in Norway. The light especially, but also the layout of the parks and gardens, the friendliness / reserve of the people, the flat landscape, and the food all reminded me of my favorite things about “home.” The architecture, design, sculpture, bikes!–everything was so beautiful and felt so meaningful. We barely scratched the surface of this country and we will be back.
